What it is

A Telegram-focused add-on with two features:

How it works

Share button

Each link shows a Telegram button that opens the app with the title and short URL already filled in, ready to send to anyone.

Post to your channel

Clicking "publish" opens an editor where you format the message (bold, italic, strikethrough, links, emojis), add an image and see a live preview. Linsei sends it to your channel via a bot.

How to use it

The share button works as soon as you install the add-on.

To post to your channel:

Create a bot

In Telegram, talk to @BotFather, create a bot and copy its token.

Make it an admin

Add the bot as an admin of your channel so it can post.

Configure it

In Add-ons › Share and publish paste the token, the channel (@mychannel or -1001234567890) and an initial template.

Publish

On each link click publish, format the message, add an image if you want and send.

Template: supports {title} (link title), {short_url} (the short URL) and {target} (the final destination URL, not shortened).

Example: create the bot and copy the token

BotFather
Search @BotFather and open it.
/newbot
Send it /newbot, give it a name and a username: it returns the token (in the box).

Example: add the bot as an admin of your channel

Channel info
Open your channel, tap ⋮ (More) and choose Manage Channel.
Administrators
In Administrators, tap Add Administrator.
Add administrator
Search for your bot by its username (@yourbot) and select it.
Bot permissions
Leave only Post messages enabled and press Save.
